PROJECT AIMS
To strengthen the role played by the university in advocating for constructive, responsible and inclusive education about migration in Europe.
To facilitate and improve the possibilities for immigrants and refugees to have access to higher education.
To encourage European universities to provide a rational vehicle for contributions to the knowledge and the informed debate around migration.
TARGET GROUPS 1
Students and future researchers and practitioners who get to develop cross-cultural skills and a sensitivity to diversity by taking the course.
Project targets and involves three groups of individuals within the project:
TARGET GROUPS 2
Migrants-immigrants and refugees- in European countries who will profit from the exchange of ideas about best practices to welcome them at the university.
TARGET GROUPS 3
University Professors who collaborate across Europe for developing a common course on migration.
LEARNING OUTCOME
The REMix project main outcome is an innovative and interactive course for university teachers and students to be used in several European universities.
The format of the course allows teachers and students at transnational level to interact and work with each other and stimulate cross-cultural discussions and experiences.
